Rare English Walnut - Batch WA
£49.00
Walnut - Batch WA - Air Dried Live Edge & Square Edge Timber Boards / Wood / Shelf - Planed
English Walnut is a beautiful and highly sought-after native hardwood, prized for its rich colouring, attractive grain and natural character. It has a wonderful range of tones, from warm honey and golden brown through to deeper chocolate and darker heartwood, often with subtle figuring and variation between boards.
Compared with many of the more commonly available hardwoods, good quality English Walnut is rare, which makes it a lovely choice for projects where the timber itself is intended to be a feature.
It is a moderately hard, stable and workable timber that machines, sands and finishes beautifully. It is particularly well suited to furniture, cabinet making, shelving, boxes, turned items, gun stocks and other fine woodworking projects.
1 board available. Planed. Live edge on one side - perfect for shelves, resin work or furniture making.
