Monterey Cypress (Macrocarpa) is a durable, medium-density wood prized for its golden colour, fine texture, and excellent stability, offering natural resistance to decay and insects due to its oils, making it great for indoor and outdoor furniture. It machines and glues well but isn't steam-bendable.
Bandsawn finish. Live edge on both sides - perfect for shelves, furniture making, resin tables or woodturning. Sands / planes smooth to a nice finish easily. Q1 has some lovely "pond / pool" features which would be ideal for resin work.
