English Horse Chestnut - Air Dried Live Edge Timber Board / Wood / Shelf - Batch HG - Planed
Horse Chestnut is a beautiful pale hardwood with a fine, even texture and subtle grain, making it an excellent choice for decorative woodworking projects. Easy to machine, carve and sand, it's ideal for shelving, furniture, boxes, woodturning, carving and other indoor projects where appearance matters more than heavy-duty strength. Its creamy colour also takes stains and finishes well, allowing you to achieve anything from a natural Scandinavian look to a rich, traditional finish. A great timber for makers looking for something a little different.
Some beautiful burr markings on some of these boards.
3 boards now available. Planed. Live edge on one side - perfect for shelves, resin work or furniture making.
