Air Dried semi fossilised timber. 3500 Years Old. This timber is from a tree was buried in East Anglian Fenland.
Planed front and back. Beautiful dark colour, grain and rays. This timber is often used for contrast against other hardwoods when making furniture, it is also used as a feature timber in modern furniture being used to make bow tie inlays, handles & splines etc.
