Rare Bog Oak Live Edge Planed Boards - Batch R - Morta Wood
Air Dried semi fossilised timber. 3500 Years Old. This timber is from a tree which was buried in East Anglian Fenland.
Planed front and back. Beautiful dark colour, grain and rays. This rare timber is often used for contrast against other hardwoods when making furniture or musical instruments, it is also used as a feature timber in modern furniture being used to make bow tie inlays, pegs, dowels, handles & splines etc.
